Product & Process Development
Initial start up costs can eat into project profits and waste time. Kyowa America uses many tools to ensure a quick and efficient startup from concept to mass-production.
Preproduction: MoldFlow Plastics Adviser
Kyowa America uses Autodesk Moldflow MPA to analyze the design of future parts and their corresponding molds. The results of the analysis allows us to determine the best location for gates for efficient flow, sprue size to minimize waste, and cooling methods to get the best surface finish. We can obtain the optimal mold design, all before any metal is cut.
Visual Management
Kyowa America has the ability to manage schedules and quality report data at each facility,
as well as the Westminster office. With the data provided, it is possible to monitor all project
milestones as well as gain information in a concise and timely manner. Data collected in the monitoring
helps streamline future programs by collecting lessons learned and improving our initial product startup.

To expedite design and to assist your design, we offer short to long-term on-site consulting with an embedded consultant
in your facilities. This provides the most efficient solution for any internal design work that is needed by your project.
Internal Tool Division
In addition to the normal maintenance staff at each facility, Kyomex Plant 2 has an integrated large-scale machine shop for the creation, modifying, and maintenance of molds. The close proximity of this machine shop to our factories allows for repairs and changes to be done quickly with minimal mold downtime.
Our machines are capable of a variety of processes related to the construction and maintenance of molds of up to 30tons.
Packaging Design
Packaging is a major component of fabrication. We at Kyowa America take packaging very seriously.
Depending on your needs, we select materials that fit your specifications; whether expendable or returnable.
We work very closely with suppliers to ensure that the fit, dunnage, and pallet size is optimal for efficient
