Decorating and Assembly
Aesthetically-sensitive products require expert process control and
properly maintained equipment. Kyowa America ensures
this in every step of the decorating and assembly process.
Painting, using manual and automated equipment, follows strict standards for
appearance and durability. Kyowa has drawn upon
many years of experience with solvent-borne coatings to lead the way in the
conversion to low VOC water-borne coatings. Kyowa
has also worked closely with customers and suppliers to develop new coating
applications including two component urethane and UV cured coatings. In 2001,
at its California plant, Kyowa built two new
"zero-contamination" paint rooms for high gloss urethane clear coats.
Hot stamping and pad printing, a process similar to silk-screening, deliver
precision accuracy to printed surfaces every time.
Each facility has been designed to allow the flexibility to meet our customer's
decorating and final assembly needs. From heat stake to sonic welding to manual
assembly, Kyowa has the experience and
resources to meet your finishing needs.
